Ready to Explore Alaska? We recently completed a 7 day Alaska Cruise on the Norwegian Bliss out of Seattle. Alaska cruises offer incredible and majestic views at every turn.

April is early in the cruise season and we were only the second ship to pull into most of the ports. Excursions through the Cruise line or Independent companies are readily available and ensure you make the most of your port times.

The Bliss is a wonderful ship and has a large Observation Lounge that offers great views while staying nice and warm inside. Our weather was surprising because we did not get any rain during our 7 days and the temperature was in the high 40’s, not warm by North Carolina standards but certainly not cold by Alaska standards.

And let us not forget food!!
With a large selection of included dining such as The Local Bar & Grill, American Diner, Garden Cafe Buffet, Taste, Savor and the Manhattan Room there was never an issue finding delicious food. We also took advantage to the special offers and enjoyed specialty restaurants because why not? 🙂
NCL Bliss has specialty choices ranging from Cagney’s Steakhouse with it’s incredible 7 layer chocolate cake to the fine French Cuisine available at Le Bistro. Toss in Japanese at Teppanyaki, Barbeque at Q Texas Smokehouse, Italian at La Cucina, Mexican at Los Lobos and Asian-Latin fusion served taps style at the Food Republic and you have something for any taste!
